Wish Upon a Dandelion

Little Alice spin and toss,

Dandelions up the breeze,

Never once or twice the loss,

As innocence carries leaves.

Light as a feather,

Days pass on,

Unwavering but unravelling,

For soon time goes on,

These moments have gone,

But the dandelions float,

Directions change due coarse,

Some spoil, some stay unchanged of coarse,

All these points of fluff,

Stay secure,

Kept together,

Only in one place,

Softly tucked away in memory,

With none astray they keep good company,

Oh Queen of Hearts may rule cruel,

But these memories, those remain, even in adulthood,

A wish upon a dandelion.
